The five elements of MyGreenGSB
- Green alternatives at your fingertips. A new online ordering system allows you to see green alternatives when adding items to your shopping cart. This enables your business to determine what you can afford, and transition, at whatever rate you choose, to a more environmentally friendly cache of office and janitorial products.
- More than 5,000 green products to choose from. GSB has almost doubled our line of green products and offers new breakroom products such as tableware made of compostable and biodegradable cornstarch.
- Green you can afford. GSB has introduced a catalog of exclusively green products, including our new GSB-brand 100% post-consumer recycled, chlorine free multipurpose paper that performs perfectly in your office equipment, is 92 bright white and affordable.
- GSB for People, the Planet, and our Community. MyGreenGSB classifies its product choices as MyGreenPeople, MyGreenPlanet, and MyGreenCommunity. In our online catalog, all green products are marked with this symbol

These groups show you whether they benefit people or the planet, or represent good community stewardship (e.g., they are women or minority-owned businesses, create jobs, or produce only green products), or all three. We also mark recycled items with the traditional symbol

- MyGreenGoals help you shop and plan. GSB's trained staff can help you go green by explaining choices and consulting with you on your individual green purchasing strategy. We can help you establish green goals. We analyze what percentage of your purchases are currently green, help you determine how much greener you'd like to be, and at what rate you want to increase your green purchasing.
